Wk 13- Classmate Conversation- Adrian Caluya

This week I spoke with AJ Caluya, a fifth year student at CSULB. AJ is majoring in electrical engineering and is expecting to graduate by the end of this school year (congrats!). When asked why he chose electrical engineering AJ said he was inspired to follow in the footsteps of his older cousin, whom is also an engineer, as he was appealed to the idea of traveling for work. He also states that he likes understanding how things work. Aside from school, AJ likes to skate, play guitar, and collect vinyls and cassettes. He enjoys music like MF DOOM and Mac Demarco. Finally AJ says that after 13 weeks of ART 110 his perception of art has significantly changed. From initially viewing art as how many assume it is- painting, drawing, photography, etc.- he’s learned through this class that art can deviate away from that by explaining, “I never thought that social media can be a form of art of ever be considered.”
